Abbyjane Eller has taught private piano for over 40 years. A graduate of Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy, she continued her study in performance and music education at Mercer and Kennesaw State University. She started a Yamaha music school in Macon, Georgia before moving to Atlanta, where she trained in Suzuki and Musikgarten for pre-school and piano.
Abbyjane developed and taught a music curriculum for Midway Covenant Christian School in Powder Springs, Georgia for K-4 through 8th grade, where she taught for 25 years as the Director of Music. There, she also directed an elementary chorus and show-choir of elementary and middle school students.
She is involved in the music ministry at her home church, Midway Presbyterian, where she sings in the adult choir, guest-directs and accompanies, and assists in special music. She has also directed children’s church choirs for over 35 years.
Abbyjane has been married to her wonderful, adoring husband, Larry, for 35 years and has two grown daughters. She also has one grandson, with whom she shares her love of music. She is excited to foster that same passion, appreciation, and skill with a new group of students at Harmony House.
