Brent earned his degree in music performance from Valdosta State University in 1998. He has been teaching brass and drums for over 15 years and guitar, piano and voice for over 10 years. His teaching experience ranges from school classroom, to studio, to students' homes. Brent is also an audio engineer, producer and songwriter.
Brent currently plays professionally with a variety of groups including the Class Act Band and Creekside Worship. He has served as a contract musician with Fellowship Bible Church, Dunwoody Community Church, as well many diverse groups in the Atlanta area. He has developed modern worship ministries for traditional churches, led hundreds of volunteer musicians and singers and nurtured teen creatives and their worship ministries. In addition, Brent has led worship internationally for leadership conferences in Trinidad, Romania and Germany.
