Ms. Bi's talent as a cellist has been recognized through various achievements and accolades. Her selection to represent Mississippi State in the division-level of the MTNA competition in 2020 showcases her skill and dedication to her craft. Her success in winning the Lee University concerto competition while pursuing her master's degree in 2018 speaks to her exceptional musical abilities.
In addition to her performance career, Ms. Bi has also been active in the academic field. Her proposal on "Mechanisms of Live Performance Engagement to Improve Health Outcomes of Advanced Cancer Patients" was selected for the Susan A. Siltanen Graduate Student Research Symposium at The University of Southern Mississippi in 2019, demonstrating her interdisciplinary approach to music and health. Her publication in the International Journal of Computer Mathematics reflects her commitment to the academic field.
Ms. Bi's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Artez Conservatorium in the Netherlands and a Master's degree from Lee University in Tennessee. She is currently a candidate in the Doctor of Musical Arts program in Cello Performance and Pedagogy at The University of Southern Mississippi.
