Deevon Aird is a dedicated Strings Instructor and Performer with several years of teaching and ensemble experience. He will graduate in Spring 2026 with his Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Kennesaw State University, where he studied under distinguished faculty including Kenn Wagner and Helen Kim.
Deevon began playing the violin at the age of 9. Throughout his childhood, he explored a wide variety of musical genres, shaping them into his own expressive style. His love for the arts extends beyond music into the visual arts, and this creativity and individuality are reflected strongly in his teaching philosophy.
He began teaching at age 14, working with middle school violinists, and has since progressed to instructing older and more advanced students. Today, he teaches students ranging in age from 6 to 58, covering repertoire from classical to folk styles. In addition to private instruction, he coaches middle and high school ensembles and leads sectionals in the Roswell, Georgia area. As a seasoned fine arts counselor, he occasionally teaches both music and visual arts during the summer months.
As a performer, Deevon has been active in orchestral and chamber settings since age 17. He has performed with the KSU Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestra, Blue Lake's Festival Orchestra, the Alpharetta Symphony, and several local symphonies throughout Georgia. In addition to orchestral work, he also enjoys the collaborative experience of making music in numerous chamber ensembles.
