Heidi Truitt

 Heidi Truitt graduated from Bethel College, St. Paul, MN (B.A.), Iowa State University (M.S.) and The Institute for Worship Studies in 2020 with an advanced degree. 

Heidi has taught piano lessons for about three decades, and started The Harmony House in 2005.

Her other work history includes public school teaching/counseling; private counseling practice; and ministry directing in several churches. Heidi has offered her musical gifts for many years in the following church-based roles: orchestra (flute), piano accompaniment, and choir. 

Today, Heidi also directs the ministry, New Song, encouraging the students and teachers of The Harmony House to use their God-given gifts in worship through services at retirement centers in Acworth. 

Heidi and her husband, Darrell, have two adult children, Aaron and Kara (and her husband, Zach), and one overly-loved Yorkipoo, Sammy.
