Originally from Acworth, Jake Daron is a pianist with BM in Piano Performance from KSU. He studied primarily under Dr. Robert Henry and Julie Coucheron. While at KSU he was a member of the Wind Ensemble, the Symphony Orchestra, the Piano Ensemble, the Jazz Ensemble, and several chamber groups consisting of violin duos, piano trios, and piano quintets.
Daron has worked with the Atlanta Wind Symphony, the Alpharetta Symphony, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, and the Jennie T Anderson Theater as well as winning the KSU concerto competition and performing as a soloist with the orchestra. He has also performed at the University of Alabama, the University of Georgia, Reinhardt University, Emory University, the Cobb Civic Center and more. He performs as a musician for schools, churches, and various venues. Daron has worked with several composers such as Viet Cuong, Christian Kilgore, and Brandon Gasaway. In his last year of undergraduate, he gave a lecture at the 2023 GMTA Conference. Before entering college, he obtained the rank of Eagle Scout and was also awarded the Georgia Certificate of Merit.
In his spare time he enjoys performing with other musicians, bouldering, and spending time with his wife and cat.
