Lynsey Blevins
Lynsey is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music Therapy at Georgia College & State University. She is the recipient of multiple competitive music scholarships, including the Jackie Becton Bell Scholarship, the Dr. Maidana Nunn ’57 Music Scholarship, the Sandra McCall Rosseter Music Scholarship, and the Thomas Fredric and Mrs. Tallulah Kinney Schepis Music Alumni Endowed Scholarship.
In 2023, she was selected as the only pianist to perform in the university’s Music Department Honors Recital. Lynsey served as Principal Second Violin in the Georgia College String Orchestra and actively participated in piano masterclasses and studio recitals.
Lynsey has extensive clinical experience providing music therapy services in schools, rehabilitation centers, and early childhood settings, including Lakeview Academy, Green Acres Health & Rehabilitation, and the GCSU Early Learning Center Montessori School. She has also provided adaptive violin instruction at the Life Enrichment Center and taught beginner piano through the Georgia College Bobcat Keys program.
She teaches beginning through advanced piano and beginning violin. She is passionate about creating supportive, engaging lessons that help students build confidence while developing strong musical foundations.
