Robin Brazelton graduated with a degree in Music Education from The Ohio State University. Robin has taught music and directed school choruses for 27 years. She has also taught in private studios for many years. She loves music theory and the world of chords and lead sheets. Her favorite part of teaching is inspiring students to find their love of life through music. Ensembles that have been under her direction are Concert Choir, Show Choir, A capella and Barbershop Quartets.
One of Robin’s musical passions revolves around musical theatre. She was involved frequently with productions as musical director, pianist, or even actress in Florida, Ohio and Long Island, and has recently begun involvement with musical theatre in Atlanta, Georgia as well. Some of her favorite shows as a singer/actress include "Pippin", "They’re Playing My Song", "Mame", and "Man of La Mancha". Her favorites as a musical director/pianist are "D*mn Yankees", "The Fantasticks", "Little Shop of Horrors", "A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine", "Songs for a New World", "Footloose", and "Ordinary Days".
She’s married to her wonderful and supportive husband, Dennis, and has two grown children, Caroline and Christopher, who are also in the professional world of theatre and music.
