Teresa Unkefer received her bachelor’s degree in Christian Education/Bible and Piano Music from Fort Wayne Bible College (Taylor University), where she studied under Dr. Jay Platte.
Teresa and her husband, David, married more than 30 years, are the parents of three children. They are now also truly enjoying grandparenting! Through 19 years of home-educating their children, she learned to creatively structure lessons uniquely for each student . . . discovering what they already knew and taking them to the next levels! Your student will benefit and progress well with her individualized instruction!
Teresa has enjoyed providing piano accompaniment for a variety of churches, as well as music education. She has taught beginning and intermediate pianists of all ages since the 1990s. Her patient piano instruction style is both fun and motivating.
Teresa’s goal for teaching piano: To encourage students to give the gift of music to others! Teresa loves teaching the piano and is excited to get to know you and your student through partnership with The Harmony House!
