Bio
Victoria received her education from Bethel College and Seminary in Saint Paul Minnesota where she majored in Music Education. For the last 30 years she has been using her education and gifting as a worship leader and music director at churches in Florida and the Atlanta area. She also had her own band for 7 years and would provide the worship for various ministries in large and small venues.
She has been teaching piano and guitar since 1992 and absolutely loves working with her students! Her philosophy of teaching is to make it fun as well as educational. She believes if a student really enjoys what they're doing they are going to excel and she has seen that first hand! She aquired several students that were ready to quit and when they came to her gained a newfound passion for the instrument. She loves revival of all kinds especially reigniting the passion for music in people.
She believes that all students with their individual and unique personalities need to be approached and educated in a tailor-made version that matches the students' personas.
As a piano teacher she not only teaches classically note by note but also teaches chord charts which is what most worship bands use. As a guitar teacher her focus is the acoustic guitar and has been playing since she was 12. As a voice teacher she is more geared toward contemporary voice.
She loves to teach in all of her areas but her passion is in leading worship. It is her forte to teach budding worship leaders not only the mechanics but the spirit of what is required to lead and direct a band and/or congregation in worship.
Victoria is very happy to be teaching at Harmony House and is excited for what her future holds there.
